The majority of sales in Newton during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £327,250. Terraced properties sold for an average of £175,800, with semi-detached properties fetching £241,500.
Newton, with an overall average price of £265,409, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Mumbles (£270,928), but was more expensive than West Cross (£243,163) and cheaper than Langland (£373,896).
Overall sold prices in Newton over the last year were 9% down on the previous year and 19% down on the 2014 level of £328,458.
