Most of the sales in Roker over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £137,607. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £201,089 and flats averaged at £141,857.
Roker, with an overall average price of £158,734, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Fulwell (£152,832), but was more expensive than Sunderland (£138,759) and cheaper than Seaburn (£183,266).
In the past year house prices in Roker were similar to the year before and 3% up on 2015 when they averaged at £154,362.
