Last year most property sales in Romney Marsh involved detached properties which sold for on average £327,040. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £235,015, while terraced properties fetched £191,140.
Romney Marsh, with an overall average price of £271,253 was more expensive than nearby Lydd (£215,489), but was cheaper than New Romney (£309,054) and Littlestone (£342,301).
During the last year, sold prices in Romney Marsh were similar to the previous year and 19% up on 2015 when the average house price was £227,112.
