Most of the sales in Salcombe over the past year were flats which on average sold for £524,042. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £457,850 and detached properties averaged at £861,572.
Salcombe, with an overall average price of £570,459 was more expensive than nearby Kingsbridge (£320,836) and Modbury (£293,116), but was cheaper than Bigbury On Sea (£660,563).
In the past year house prices in Salcombe were 12% down on the year before and 17% down on 2014 when they averaged at £690,023.
