Last year most property sales in Salford Quays involved flats which sold for on average £166,776. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £186,750, while detached properties fetched £174,500.
Salford Quays, with an overall average price of £167,634, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Old Trafford (£166,925) and Salford (£163,745), but was cheaper than Castlefield (£191,553).
During the last year, sold prices in Salford Quays were 12% up on the previous year and 11% down on 2005 when the average house price was £188,838.
