Last year most property sales in Sandal involved detached properties which sold for on average £313,397. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £191,971, while terraced properties fetched £116,480.
Sandal, with an overall average price of £219,826 was more expensive than nearby Walton (£206,511) and Wakefield (£172,614), but was cheaper than Newmillerdam (£342,167).
During the last year, sold prices in Sandal were 12% up on the previous year and 7% up on 2010 when the average house price was £205,491.
