Last year most property sales in Sandal involved detached properties which sold for on average £316,210. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £169,819, while terraced properties fetched £119,099.
Sandal, with an overall average price of £210,872 was more expensive than nearby Wakefield (£167,135), but was cheaper than Walton (£236,774) and Newmillerdam (£340,455).
During the last year, sold prices in Sandal were 7% up on the previous year and similar to 2010 when the average house price was £206,221.
