Last year most property sales in Sandal involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £151,199. Detached properties sold for an average price of £312,288, while terraced properties fetched £111,036.
Sandal, with an overall average price of £190,900, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Newmillerdam (£195,122), but was more expensive than Wakefield (£161,147) and cheaper than Walton (£208,164).
During the last year, sold prices in Sandal were similar to the previous year and 9% down on 2009 when the average house price was £209,096.
