Last year most property sales in Sandal involved detached properties which sold for on average £293,392. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £157,163, while terraced properties fetched £116,640.
Sandal, with an overall average price of £196,093, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Newmillerdam (£190,245), but was more expensive than Wakefield (£163,680) and cheaper than Walton (£216,377).
During the last year, sold prices in Sandal were 10% up on the previous year and 6% down on 2009 when the average house price was £209,096.
