Last year most property sales in Sandal involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £159,299. Detached properties sold for an average price of £276,749, while terraced properties fetched £107,890.
Sandal, with an overall average price of £179,157, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Newmillerdam (£182,395), but was more expensive than Wakefield (£156,244) and cheaper than Walton (£196,264).
During the last year, sold prices in Sandal were 5% down on the previous year and 14% down on 2009 when the average house price was £209,096.
