The majority of sales in Sandgate during the last year were flats, selling for an average price of £213,206. Detached properties sold for an average of £401,130, with terraced properties fetching £254,200.
Sandgate, with an overall average price of £287,319 was more expensive than nearby Cheriton (£224,322) and Folkestone (£213,339), but was cheaper than Hythe (£345,041).
Overall sold prices in Sandgate over the last year were 3% up on the previous year and 8% down on the 2014 level of £313,341.
