Last year most property sales in Sandon involved detached properties which sold for on average £761,429. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £458,333, while terraced properties fetched £355,000.
Sandon, with an overall average price of £591,539, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Howe Green (£603,893), but was more expensive than Great Baddow (£346,347) and Chelmer Village (£318,476).
During the last year, sold prices in Sandon were 21% down on the previous year and 17% up on 2011 when the average house price was £504,167.
