Most of the sales in Scarcroft over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £689,393. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £337,500 and terraced properties averaged at £293,500.
Scarcroft, with an overall average price of £569,450 was more expensive than nearby Bardsey (£459,447), Thorner (£372,234) and Shadwell (£386,448).
In the past year house prices in Scarcroft were 33% up on the year before and 12% down on 2014 when they averaged at £648,872.
