Last year most property sales in Scarisbrick involved detached properties which sold for on average £360,967. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £227,750, while terraced properties fetched £176,833.
Scarisbrick, with an overall average price of £269,805 was more expensive than nearby Ormskirk (£224,938) and Burscough (£178,338), but was cheaper than Halsall (£297,006).
During the last year, sold prices in Scarisbrick were similar to the previous year and 11% up on 2005 when the average house price was £242,674.
