Most of the sales in Seahouses over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £147,497. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £188,796 and detached properties averaged at £281,031.
Seahouses, with an overall average price of £187,310 was cheaper than nearby Beadnell (£237,315), Bamburgh (£337,396) and Chathill (£269,640).
In the past year house prices in Seahouses were 3% up on the year before and 26% down on 2008 when they averaged at £254,250.
