Last year most property sales in Shere involved detached properties which sold for on average £1,160,866. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £691,167, while flats fetched £868,654.
Shere, with an overall average price of £928,740, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Peaslake (£944,250), but was more expensive than Gomshall (£557,861) and Ewhurst (£629,675).
During the last year, sold prices in Shere were 25% up on the previous year and 21% up on 2011 when the average house price was £765,513.
