Most of the sales in Smallfield over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £473,250. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £359,295 and terraced properties averaged at £326,119.
Smallfield, with an overall average price of £386,420, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Horley (£377,886), but was more expensive than Redhill (£363,689) and cheaper than South Godstone (£443,481).
In the past year house prices in Smallfield were 6% up on the year before and 16% up on 2014 when they averaged at £333,008.
