Most of the sales in Southbourne over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £309,025. Detached properties had an average sold price of £507,273 and terraced properties averaged at £303,494.
Southbourne, with an overall average price of £335,602 was more expensive than nearby Havant (£248,295), but was cheaper than Westbourne (£395,473) and Rowland's Castle (£480,121).
In the past year house prices in Southbourne were similar to the year before and 13% up on 2011 when they averaged at £297,155.
