Most of the sales in Southbourne over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £295,554. Detached properties had an average sold price of £529,792 and terraced properties averaged at £274,850.
Southbourne, with an overall average price of £345,782 was more expensive than nearby Havant (£241,012), but was cheaper than Westbourne (£363,389) and Rowland's Castle (£455,427).
In the past year house prices in Southbourne were 6% up on the year before and 16% up on 2011 when they averaged at £297,155.
