Most of the sales in Spital over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £269,819. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £215,517 and terraced properties averaged at £188,333.
Spital, with an overall average price of £247,525 was more expensive than nearby Bromborough (£165,596), Bebington (£166,361) and Port Sunlight (£138,419).
In the past year house prices in Spital were 9% up on the year before and 6% up on 2005 when they averaged at £234,342.
