Most of the sales in Thornton Heath over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £381,775. Flats had an average sold price of £258,330 and semi-detached properties averaged at £429,750.
Thornton Heath, with an overall average price of £350,586, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby South Norwood (£349,989), but was more expensive than Selhurst (£321,316) and cheaper than Norbury (£469,540).
In the past year house prices in Thornton Heath were 10% up on the year before and 26% up on 2015 when they averaged at £278,835.
