Most of the sales in Thorpe-Le-Soken over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £289,481. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £210,000 and semi-detached properties averaged at £216,000.
Thorpe-Le-Soken, with an overall average price of £259,047, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Little Clacton (£260,603) and Weeley (£252,782), but was more expensive than Kirby Cross (£233,395).
In the past year house prices in Thorpe-Le-Soken were 7% down on the year before and 13% down on 2008 when they averaged at £298,931.
