Last year most property sales in Upper Shirley involved flats which sold for on average £325,664. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £482,105, while detached properties fetched £976,033.
Upper Shirley, with an overall average price of £408,966 was more expensive than nearby Croydon (£347,866) and Addiscombe (£373,661), but was cheaper than Shirley (£432,903).
During the last year, sold prices in Upper Shirley were 21% up on the previous year and 18% up on 2014 when the average house price was £347,479.
