Last year most property sales in Whitburn Village involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £199,177. Detached properties sold for an average price of £422,698, while terraced properties fetched £146,168.
Whitburn Village, with an overall average price of £260,319, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Cleadon Village (£256,799), but was more expensive than Seaburn (£179,391) and cheaper than Cleadon (£296,215).
During the last year, sold prices in Whitburn Village were 8% up on the previous year and 9% up on 2014 when the average house price was £239,839.
