Last year most property sales in Whitefield involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £183,205. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £146,551, while detached properties fetched £405,964.
Whitefield, with an overall average price of £201,072, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Prestwich (£201,701), but was more expensive than Unsworth (£181,799) and Radcliffe (£128,868).
During the last year, sold prices in Whitefield were 8% up on the previous year and 12% up on 2008 when the average house price was £179,844.
