Last year most property sales in Wilton involved detached properties which sold for on average £426,880. Flats sold for an average price of £236,306, while terraced properties fetched £256,952.
Wilton, with an overall average price of £317,575 was more expensive than nearby Salisbury (£289,317) and Amesbury (£266,487), but was cheaper than Alderbury (£405,741).
During the last year, sold prices in Wilton were 5% up on the previous year and 17% up on 2008 when the average house price was £271,394.
