Geographically, Leatherhead is excellently located for both private and public transport being equidistant between Heathrow and Gatwick International Airports and about 18 miles south of London. Leatherhead, situated on the A24, five miles north of Dorking is accessible via the A243 Leatherhead By Pass to Junction 9 of the M25 and thus the national motorway network. By rail from Leatherhead's main line station, London Victoria and Waterloo are within 35/40 minutes travelling time.

The Leatherhead area is well served by both state and private schools including St. Johns, Leatherhead, and City of London Freemans School, Ashtead. A schools list can be sent on request.

In the surrounding area are numerous golf courses including Tyrrells Wood, Leatherhead, The RAC, Epsom and Effingham Golf Club, Effingham.
