Most of the sales in Cornwall over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £492,980. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £263,363 and semi-detached properties averaged at £307,630.
Cornwall, with an overall average price of £350,296, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Devon (£335,259), but was cheaper than Somerset (£372,197) and Dorset (£407,902). The most expensive area within Cornwall was Rock (£1,077,818) and the cheapest was Camborne (£222,665).
In the past year house prices in Cornwall were 3% down on the year before and 5% up on 2021 when they averaged at £332,546.
