House Prices in South Yorkshire

Most of the sales in South Yorkshire over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £195,218. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £156,264 and detached properties averaged at £343,775.

South Yorkshire, with an overall average price of £210,230, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby East Riding Of Yorkshire (£209,328), but was cheaper than West Yorkshire (£229,000) and North Yorkshire (£285,550). The most expensive area within South Yorkshire was Bradfield (£900,000) and the cheapest was Edlington (£105,291).

In the past year house prices in South Yorkshire were 3% down on the year before and 5% up on 2021 when they averaged at £200,099.
