House Prices in South Yorkshire

Most of the sales in South Yorkshire over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £194,950. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £155,095 and detached properties averaged at £351,883.

South Yorkshire, with an overall average price of £211,480, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby East Riding Of Yorkshire (£210,575), but was cheaper than West Yorkshire (£230,628) and North Yorkshire (£290,931). The most expensive area within South Yorkshire was Dore (£655,723) and the cheapest was Edlington (£105,711).

In the past year house prices in South Yorkshire were similar to the year before and 6% up on 2021 when they averaged at £200,068.
