Most of the sales in Suffolk over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £454,214. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £285,670 and terraced properties averaged at £243,918.
Suffolk, with an overall average price of £326,210 was more expensive than nearby Norfolk (£302,638), but was cheaper than Essex (£410,903) and Cambridgeshire (£370,755). The most expensive area within Suffolk was Walberswick (£828,381) and the cheapest was Copdock (£150,000).
In the past year house prices in Suffolk were 5% down on the year before and similar to 2021 when they averaged at £321,477.
