The majority of sales in Capel St. Mary during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £387,500. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £276,500, with terraced properties fetching £265,000.
Capel St. Mary, with an overall average price of £332,400, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Copdock (£328,583), but was more expensive than Brantham (£291,698) and cheaper than East Bergholt (£399,243).
Overall sold prices in Capel St. Mary over the last year were 6% down on the previous year and 18% up on the 2014 level of £281,236.
