Last year most property sales in Martlesham involved detached properties which sold for on average £381,461. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £233,417, while semi-detached properties fetched £225,900.
Martlesham, with an overall average price of £322,225 was more expensive than nearby Martlesham Heath (£301,900) and Kesgrave (£289,723), but was cheaper than Woodbridge (£397,154).
During the last year, sold prices in Martlesham were 7% up on the previous year and 17% up on 2015 when the average house price was £276,229.
