Most of the sales in Suffolk over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £474,471. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £290,831 and terraced properties averaged at £244,552.
Suffolk, with an overall average price of £335,866 was more expensive than nearby Norfolk (£306,874), but was cheaper than Essex (£416,630) and Cambridgeshire (£379,238). The most expensive area within Suffolk was Walberswick (£1,516,667) and the cheapest was Copdock (£180,000).
In the past year house prices in Suffolk were similar to the year before and 5% up on 2021 when they averaged at £321,349.
