North Yorkshire, with an overall average price of £285,550 was more expensive than nearby West Yorkshire (£229,000), East Riding Of Yorkshire (£209,328) and South Yorkshire (£210,230). The priciest area within North Yorkshire was Sandsend (£945,000) and the least expensive was Knottingley (£140,212).
During the last year, sold prices in North Yorkshire were 4% down on the previous year and similar to 2021 when the average house price was £280,552.
