Last year most property sales in Bishopthorpe involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £323,807. Detached properties sold for an average price of £358,865, while terraced properties fetched £237,750.
Bishopthorpe, with an overall average price of £322,325 was more expensive than nearby Fulford (£285,301) and Acomb (£220,917), but was cheaper than Copmanthorpe (£405,725).
