Last year most property sales in Castleton involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £183,500. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £150,500, while detached properties fetched £235,000.
Castleton, with an overall average price of £176,938 was more expensive than nearby Guisborough (£166,800), but was cheaper than Great Ayton (£221,554) and Saltburn-By-The-Sea (£196,622).
