North Yorkshire, with an overall average price of £291,750 was more expensive than nearby West Yorkshire (£230,412), East Riding Of Yorkshire (£211,296) and South Yorkshire (£212,191). The priciest area within North Yorkshire was Sandsend (£945,000) and the least expensive was Knottingley (£147,907).
During the last year, sold prices in North Yorkshire were similar to the previous year and 4% up on 2021 when the average house price was £280,385.
