Phil Neville is selling his three-storey apartment that can be found in Manchester’s tallest building. The three bedroom property is thought to be the most expensive of its kind in Manchester and is on the market for £4million.
Check out Phil Neville's apartment here!
That big chunk of change buys you 4950ft2 of plush real estate on the 44th-46th floor of the Beetham Tower and includes a gym, study, dressing room and studio. The footballer’s apartment boasts 180 degree views across the city and has private lift access and five allocated car spaces (well you’ll need space for the Ferraris!).
The WAG friendly property is perfect for open plan living and the interior was designed by British designer to the stars, Kelly Hoppen. If all that’s not enough, the pricey pad is above the Hilton Hotel which grants residents access to all of its luxury amenities.
The Everton Captain bought the flat back in 2006 for £1million with his wife Julie and their two children. The family are now selling the property to move into the house they’re having built in Bolton. Something tells us that at that price, the apartment won’t be without a footballer for long!
If Manchester tickles you’re fancy but you don’t have a footballer’s bank balance, check out some of these more affordable properties in the area.

Parts of Manchester, particularly South Manchester seem very expensive. I remember looking over in Altrincham and we couldn’t find a family home for under £500k, but I must admit that it seems a very nice part of the world!

Another example of vendor greed, what makes him think his property has quadrupled in value? Get a grip mate. Prices are going down and nothing is worth that much or anywhere near.

What a joke. It is not easy to sell Central London property for that much why would you waste your money and then in 3/4 years it will be worth half of what you paid.

In love with the kitchen as l had always fancy a big kitchen and garden. The houses are fantastic, lovely and maintained dignity and respect.

If anyone can show me a property that has quadrupled in value from ‘06 to now then they must have bought it originally dirt cheap. Oh well, there’ll be some s****d footballer pay that for it….

Should the heading not read “Phil Neville ‘tries’ to sell the most expensive apartment in Manchester”? What a total ****…if he removed his head from up his arse for a mere moment he may even notice the housing market mess maybe? Surely people would want a house ‘worth’ 4 million and somewhere nice even??

Well i think with all his money he should give me it free instead of wasting time lol

I got my husband to look at the pics and guess the price while obscuring the price figure. He said £350,000.
£4,000,000? Is he mad? That is worse than obscene – it is completely laughable.
I wouldn’t give you tuppence for it. It’s bland, boring and for that money frankly pokey.

For crying out loud, you must be joking pal.£4m.It’s very nice but it’s a FLAT!Never in a million yrs is it worth any where near that amount.Your agent is trying it on,he has you on his books with a quite unrealistic valuation,in a few months time when it hasn’t moved ,then watch the price drop!

Yet more proof of too much money in sport/football.
Why not auction it and give the money to children in need?
Seriously……..
Think about it!

Anyone who buys this is a complete idiot! ridiculous money and little bang for your buck I say!
November 20th, 2010 at 9:23 am
so what you are trying to tell us phil is that your pad in mankland is a lot more expensive than the whole of everton fc.

Madness.

It’s worth every penny as I have been in this apartment, I currently live in prestbury and so the price doesn’t seem overly inflated!

Rightmove says it’s thought to be the most expensive of it’s kind in Manchester. If they had checked, right above it is the 12,500 sq ft Penthouse belonging to the architect of the building Ian Simpson. That is valued at around £8million and the BBC have him on camera admitting it’s value.
Phil Neville’s apartment was 3 apartments he bought individually, then converted into one big apartment around 5000 sq ft when the building was first under construction.

Anybody who thinks that apartment is worth 4M, obviously hasn’t looked around. Another example of football players not keeping in touch with the real world.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for pointing that out… £8million wow and we thought Phil Neville’s pad was expensive?!
What we should have said is that Phil Neville’s apartment is the most expensive apartment in Manchester on the market at the moment.

The majority of comments are typical of the jealous nature of people in general.
Ultimately the value is the price that someone is willing to pay for it of course he will want to get as much as he can like anyone would.
I feel that Phil Neville, his wife and family, deserves utmost respect for all that he does for charity and some of the comments are nothing short of offensive.
If more people had is attitude and character then we may have more £4m properties on the market.
Good luck to him!!

Has the estate agent let the work experience kid loose on the PC? A typo perhaps and you really mean four hundred thousand pounds, not four million pounds?
February 24th, 2011 at 8:20 pm
No-one in they’re right mind is going to buy that apartment for 4 million, but at least his decorative taste has improved since moving from that tacky “mansion” in Crawshawbooth!
July 24th, 2011 at 5:28 am
That is not worth four million pounds. No. No. No. No. 1 million. Maybe. Four million. Never. !

There is just no way that 7-bed Prestwich house is worth 3 quarters of a million. For that kind of money you might expect some decent land with it, but there’s not that much… just a garden and drive. Property prices seem to be strange in Manchester sometimes, and many of my firends believe it’s worthwhile renting flats for much of their professional lives.
I’m not so sure however, I’d like my own place and don’t want to pay someone else’s mortage. There seems to be some options for serviced apartment Manchester which would allow me to concentrate on work and not dealing with my apartment, but eventually I’d love a studio like the one on Whitworth street above.
I agree with Paul J Kiely above, that it’s not right to judge someone based on the money they make, and that Neville does a lot for the local area and for charity too.
