Coming from the M6 motorway, come off at Junction 37, take the A684 exit to Kendal/Sedbergh, continue for 0.3 miles and then turn right for Sedbergh on A684, continue for 0.3 miles, then turn left onto Old Scotch Road and continue for 1.7 miles. The land can be accessed from the minor road linking Docker and Lambrigg Head. The main access point is via a gravel access track which connects on to the minor road, which is the bridleway, the bridleway runs most of the way towards the summit, passing a small reservoir.
