    Jonathan Waters opened his Ipswich Office at 625 Foxhall Road in 1999, having started the company in 1992. He went on to sell the company lock stock and barrel as a highly successful market leader with an outstanding reputation in 2014 to become a carer for his elderly mother.
    A new owner then ran the company for four years but this unfortunately ceased trading in August 2018.
    Jonathan has handpicked some of his original highly experienced staff to form Foxhall Estate Agents with a team offering well over 50 years estate agency experience between them and has opened up once again at the original established Foxhall Road premises.

    Jonathan Waters - Managing Director
    Jonathan Waters was born and grew up just a stone's throw from the office and has lived in the Ipswich area most of his life. Now in his 33rd year in estate agency he has previously held a number of posts within the industry including Chairman of the Guild of Independent Estate Agents. He is very keen on the regulation of the industry to improve standards and is keeping a close eye on the government report calling for all estate agents to be licenced and adhere to a strict code of practice. Photography has been a lifelong passion for him, and he has previously worked as a professional photographer and trained many staff in specialist estate agency photography. He is an expert at the visual promotion of a property to look it's absolute best. His previous work in the planning department for Suffolk Coastal District Council saw him deal with the original planning applications for Grange Farm, Bixley Farm, Brookhill Park and a lot of Martlesham Heath. He has a very good working knowledge of the modern estates but he also loves older character properties. With any property he markets time is taken to describe the lifestyle on offer with the home rather than just describing bricks and mortar, which is quite a unique skill in this day and age. He keeps a close eye on proceedings and is involved personally in everything that goes on at Foxhall Estate Agents. He is a family man with partner Emma, who is the Sales Progression Manager within the business and their six children. He is a member of Rushmere Golf Club, a keen swimmer, a cyclist, dog walker and has a passion for anything on two wheels or four! A little known fact is that he used to produce his own Dr Who magazine! Jonathan will provide a whole host of professional and technical comparative evidence to back up the valuation figure he will place on your home.

    Jenna Arnold - Sales Manager
    Has been in the industry nearly 20 years and therefore has years of experience selling in all types of market conditions. She is well known and respected within the Ipswich Property Industry and has gained an excellent reputation through many years of honest exceptional customer service. Her knowledge of the business of selling homes is second to none. She really understands the need to see the process through to the end and is able to negotiate her way successfully around any stumbling blocks to complete the sale. She has lived in Ipswich all her life, loves to collect vinyl records, go to gigs and walking her two dogs Hendrix and Woodstock. Jenna has also qualified as an Associate Member of the Guild of Property Professionals.

    Kevin Harmer - Valuations Manager
    Kevin has been in estate agency for a number of years and has previously worked for both independent and corporate estate agency much preferring the personal touch that a smaller friendlier agent can offer. Kevin in an absolute expert at judging the market and getting the valuation price spot on. His photography and presentation of properties are the envy of many of our competitors. Sellers are always impressed when they have been on the market unsuccessfully with a previous agent as to how he is able to make their property look far more attractive. He can personally empathise with the stress and upheaval of the moving process having moved home several times in recent years and he has recently bought his dream house, a secluded 16th century Grade II listed cottage with beams and an inglenook fireplace. Kevin is fully proficient at British Sign Language which means he can also help buyers and sellers who have hearing difficulties. He plays football to a high level but probably best not to mention this - his team are currently bottom of the table. He is very keen on amateur dramatics having recently played a role in Dangerous Liasons at the Sir John Mills Theatre. Kevin's hair is currently longer than in the above photograph in anticipation of a forthcoming role.     Emma-Jane Ford - Sales Progression Manager
    Emma-Jane, Jonathan's partner, has lived in the Ipswich area for many years. She has spent all her working life in successful family run firms and always in customer facing environments. Prior to joining estate agency, Emma-Jane has worked in her family law firm in London, starting as a junior and finishing as the branch manager upon leaving to have her first son. This is where she first became interested in property, assisting the solicitors, who specialised in conveyancing, probate and matrimonial work. Following a move to Suffolk she continued to work in conveyancing for many years so perhaps rare amongst Sales Progressors has experienced property conveyancing from the Solicitors' point of view. This insight has given her a different perspective than most and ensures that the conveyancing process is fast tracked where possible. In fact she has worked in the legal and conveyancing sector combined for over 25 years always providing exceptional customer service. She also assists Jonathan in respect of company and individual property marketing as she is also an expert on digital marketing and social media ensuring that your property reaches the maximum number of viewers. She was also the first in the office to complete and qualify under the Enhanced Training Scheme required for membership of the Guild of Property Professionals. Not only has she raised four children but also two litters of huskies so she is used to keeping busy! She is also a keen gardener, photographer, artist, crafter, dog walker and trainer, enjoys a good puzzle or quiz, cooking, spending time with her children, friends and family and walking her husky dog Shadow. She is often to be found walking him on Rushmere Heath and local areas.     Chris Webb - Senior Valuer and Negotiator
    Chris has nearly 40 years experience in the industry. He is hugely knowledgeable in all aspects of estate agency but specialises in valuing and is ideally placed to help with your home move. Life in the property industry for Chris started with the now closed Bairstowe Eves in Ipswich in 1981. He quickly rose to branch manager level, overseeing their Ipswich office for nearly 15 years. He then worked for Abbotts in the Wickham Market branch for a number of years giving him extensive knowledge of the villages and towns north and east of Ipswich. He also knows the Capel St Mary area like the back of his hand having lived there for a number of years.Like many before and since, Chris became disillusioned with big national estate agents. He joined Jonathan Waters Estate Agents in Ipswich in 2012, when it was still owned by Jonathan Waters. New owners took over upon Mr Waters' retirement and sadly the business closed in 2018.Chris has now returned, refreshed and revitalised and has rejoined Jonathan Waters' new family run Foxhall Estate Agents, which opened on 1st June 2019. Over the years he has experienced the highs and lows of the property market and is very well positioned to know what it takes to sell a property in these challenging times. Chris is a keen sportsman and likes to keep fit. He also follows the Ipswich Witches speedway team and having recently moved home himself currently has a DIY project on his hands.
