  • Introduction

    We've got a great team at Harker & Bullman and they make the company what it is. Most have been with us for over 10 years which is a tremendous compliment and ensures stability and continuity for our customers. There is rarely a situation that we haven't already experienced between us.

    Although the office is always busy, we take time to deal properly with each query that arises - and we do it with a smile!

    Stephanie Richardson MARLA - Director
    Stephanie's early career was quite varied- from selling antiques in France when she was 18 years to being P.A. to the famous boxer Billy Walker and his brother George in London's Piccadilly. She and her husband David also renovated many old buildings including one of England's first Anabaptist chapels and a bonded wine warehouse which they converted to a successful indoor market.

    In 1994 Stephanie joined Mrs. Joan Harker and Mrs. Ann Bullman as a Manager at their offices in East Street, Wimborne. She purchased the business with David the following year when the two partners decided to retire. Since then, Stephanie has devoted considerable energy to making the company what it is today and quickly qualified as a member of ARLA Propertymark as she saw the benefits this could bring to her clients. She served for many years on the Wimborne Chamber of Trade and still found plenty of time to spend with her family.

    Living in the village of Spetisbury, Stephanie loves gardening and makes the most of village life, getting involved in local activities such as yoga and the Christmas Pantomime - she made an excellent Fairy Godmother! She speaks French fluently and loves to be in France whenever she can, visiting new places, walking, canoeing or simply enjoying the local food and wine!

    Scott Blunden MARLA - Office Manager
    Scott was born in Dorset but spent his early years in North America, before returning to the UK to complete his secondary school education at Bournemouth School. Scott has always had a passion for property and can boast 20 years' experience in the industry.

    In 1996 he began working for an estate agent in Bournemouth followed by 10 years for a respected independent agent in South West London where he led a team specialising in Residential Lettings and Property Management. In 2009 Scott re-located back to Wimborne with his wife and 2 small children, working in a managerial position in Poole for a Sandbanks agent.

    Scott was appointed as Office Manager for Harker & Bullman in February 2015. He is a qualified member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) and is passionate about providing a 1st class service to all our clients. In this role he is determined to enhance the excellent reputation Harker & Bullman already enjoys and is looking forward to building new long-standing relationships with clients in the local community.

    Away from the office Scott enjoys spending time with his family and he also enjoys playing golf, walking and travelling.

    Amanda Clifford MARLA - Senior Negotiator
    Amanda is a local girl having grown up in the villages of Chalbury, Gaunts Common and Holtwood. She currently lives in Colehill and seems to know half the people of East Dorset. It is rare for Amanda to walk through Wimborne without bumping into someone she recognises!

    Being the daughter of a local Wimborne builder, Amanda developed a keen interest in property from an early age and enjoyed watching the progress of her father's projects, especially in the Purbecks where a site visit usually ended in a coastal path walk!

    With 20 years' experience selling and letting property, combined with a love of meeting and helping people, Amanda feels she has the perfect job as Senior Negotiator. As a Landlord herself she knows first-hand what makes a good Buy-To-Let property and the importance of finding the right tenants. In 2012 she studied for the ARLA technical award and is now a proud member of ARLA Propertymark.

    Out of work Amanda enjoys baking and keeping fit and hopes one counteracts the other. She recently took up cycling and enjoys riding through the Dorset countryside, which reminds her what a beautiful county we live in.

    Sue Pritchett - Senior Property Manager
    Sue has always worked in demanding Customer Service roles. She was employed for twenty years in and around London for high profile companies, with responsibility for European Logistics, budgets and British Standards, before moving to Dorset with her family in 2001.

    She originally joined Harker & Bullman as an Inventory Clerk but her exceptional focus and attention to detail quickly established her as our Senior Property Manager. She sets herself high standards and expects the same from her team with an accent on fairness and consistency. Sue lives in West Moors and her portfolio covers Ferndown, St Ives, Ringwood and Three Legged Cross.

    In her spare time Sue enjoys visiting National Trust properties, keeping fit at Verwood Hub and eating chocolate but not necessarily in that order!

    Lynne Phillipson-Masters - Accounts Manager
    Lynne was born and grew up in Bournemouth. She married her husband Forbes in 1978 and moved to Southampton, Plymouth and Bristol due to his football career. They returned to Dorset and have now lived in Verwood for over 30 years. They have two grown up sons.

    Lynne joined H&B in 2007 as Accounts Manager following a successful career with Barclays Bank. She deals with all the tenants', landlords', and contractors' payments as well as all the office accounts.

    Lynne works part-time and when not at H&B enjoys walking, going to the local gym and spending as much time as possible at the family beach hut on Sandbanks, Poole.

    Ben Richardson - Marketing Manager
    Ben grew up in the village of Spetisbury, near Blandford and first joined Harker and Bullman over 15 years ago as the Saturday boy before returning as negotiator several years later. It was during this second stint that Ben realised he had a passion for all things property and great customer service, so he decided to study Property Agency and Marketing at the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester.

    Following several years as the Assistant Land Agent for a large rural estate, Ben has returned to the fold with responsibility for marketing, rebranding and the new website.

    Ben's passion is surfing and he can regularly be found across Devon, Cornwall and even Dorset when conditions are 'right'. Apparently he has a love hate relationship with the wind! On the rare occasions Ben has any spare time, he spends it renovating his flat.

    Mo Church - Negotiator
    Born in Somerset, Mo moved to Dorset in 1996 and now lives in Poole. 

    She joined H&B in 2008 as a negotiator after a career in customer liaison in the printing industry.She is in her element dealing with people and loves matching our properties to the right tenants.

    When not letting properties Mo's passions are music, travel and the local art Studio in Wimborne.

    Joanna Broadbridge - Lettings Administrator
    Jo is from Buckinghamshire but moved to the Lower Parkstone area of Poole just over 20 years ago, so she is almost a local to Dorset! 

    Jo first started working in the Residential Lettings industry in 2008 where she was based in Penn Hill. She has been with H&B since 2013, and initially worked as Property Maintenance Manager and as one of our three Property Managers before settling into her current role; responsible for tenancy renewals, new agreements and referencing.

    In her spare time, Jo's passion is photography and she has been known to sell the odd print or two on-line. Jo also loves to paddle board in Poole Harbour and enjoys hanging out with friends and family and especially with Mr Wilson...... her dog!

    Catherine Connell - Property Manager
    Cathy grew up in Hamworthy, Dorset and in addition to her excellent local knowledge brings a diverse range of lettings and property management experience to Harker & Bullman.

    Initially working in customer service and tax administration, Cathy found her communication skills and attention to detail transferred well into the lettings industry and she hasn't looked back since. Having been a Senior Accounts Administrator, Inventory Clerk, Property Maintenance Coordinator and Lettings Manager for several respected firms across Bournemouth, Christchurch and the New Forest, Cathy has a real appreciation of every aspect of the lettings industry.

    As the newest member of the H&B team, Cathy's skills above coupled with her cheery disposition and helpful attitude means she is well equipped for life as one of our Property Managers.

    Cathy lives in Poole and enjoys spoiling her (now retired) horse of 27 years. She has been lucky enough to see some beautiful corners of the world from Canada to Fiji, New Zealand to Thailand and would love to see more!
