    Rebecca Matthew, Managing Director
    I joined our family company in 2000 to concentrate on the Lettings side of the business which was growing rapidly. Since then that department has trebled in size. We now also have a successful student lettings department and Block Management department. Over the years I have taken more and more or the running of the business over from my parents and, on their retirement in 2012, I took over as Managing Director. I am a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and the Association of Residential Letting Agents and the current chairman of the Chester Association of Auctioneers, Estate Agents and Surveyors.

    I joined the Matthew's family business full time at the start of 2014 and now work alongside my wife Rebecca Matthew. My main responsibilities include leading the block management side of the business, as well as carrying our residential valuations for the sales department. Being a lifelong resident of Chester, with family across Chester and the North Wales area, I have a great knowledge and understanding of the local area.As a Chartered Surveyor and formerly a Commercial Director, I spent 25 years in the construction industry. This enables me to bring a wealth of experience in business management and a customer focused approach.

    I have been the Senior Valuer at Matthew's since 2012, and take responsibility for the majority of the residential valuations within the sales department, as well as occasional lettings valuations when necessary. As a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents, a Member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents and a Past Chairman of the Chester Association of Auctioneers, Estate Agents and Surveyors, I also represent the Company at a variety of professional meetings and networking events.

    I have lived in Chester all of my life and after over 10 years in administration across various sectors, I joined Matthew's in June 2016.
