    Michael Moore FNAEA, MARLA  - Director
    Michael started his career as a trainee chartered surveyor back in 1979 and joined the highly respected firm of V. Stanley Walker & Son in 1981. He joined Ackroyd Dent & Co. to open their Headingley office in 1983 working for David Hall FRICS, which Michael and his wife then bought a year later. They expanded the business to become Michael J Moore Associates Ltd over the next few years, selling out to a Building Society in 1990. Michael became an Area Manager and then District Manager for the Building Society and after completing his contract departed to buy the Headingley practice of David Moor Estate Agents & Surveyors in 1993. Recently re-branded to Moores, and with his wife, Julie, and daughter, Hayley, working alongside him, and ably assisted by his Associate Partners, they have developed the partnership into the well respected and professional agency they are proud to operate today.

    Michael Davies BA (Hons) - Director
    Michael has over 20 years experience in the property industry, both in social and private housing, and possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience that ensures both teams are able to advise clients on all aspects of the residential sales and lettings markets. Having worked at Moores for 18 years and now managing a team of 10 Michael is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the teams deliver on customer service and client satisfaction. Michael's focus has always been to nurture relationships with clients, some of whom Moores has worked with more than 20 years. Many of our new clients are referred to us from existing clients who extol the virtues of using an independent family business that is able to tailor services to suit the needs of individual clients.     Angie Wright BA (Hons), MNAEA - Director
    Angie heads up the day-to-day operation of the rentals team at Moores and specialises in rental valuations, but also undertakes viewings with prospective new tenants, negotiates terms, sets up tenancies, deals with utility suppliers, negotiates lease renewals and conducts annual rent reviews. Angie's dedication and commitment to providing a high standard of customer service at Moores is second to none. She is regarded as a real asset to the partnership. Joined Moores in 2006.

    Frances Llewelyn-Jones - Rentals Negotiator
    Having worked previously as an Accounts Manager we know Fran has the transferable skills to make a great Rentals Negotiator. Working alongside Karl & Matthew day to day and being supervised by Angie, Fran will be conducting viewings, negotiating applications, preparing tenancy paperwork, updating and creating inventories and carrying out final inspections. Landlords will be able to rely on Fran to negotiate the best deals for them and can rest assured that she will update them regularly on any changes with their property. The role of a negotiator is extremely varied and as Fran has been eager to work in property for some time she is looking forward to the work ahead. Joined Moores 2018.

    Karl Stead - Rentals Co-ordinator
    Karl helps to manage our Rentals reception area, meeting and greeting customers and clients and dealing with the general enquiries for properties we have from landlords and tenants. Karl's day-to-day work includes co-ordinating viewings and booking valuations, taking tenant property requirements and adding them to our database and then matching those requirements to the properties we have for rent. Responding to emails, emailing landlords, handling phone calls are constants throughout Karl's busy day. Karl needs to work closely with our negotiators to ensure all parties are aware of who is interested in which property. Joined Moores 2012.

    Gemma Hornsby BSc (Hons) -Maintenance Co-ordinator
    Gemma controls the maintenance demands of our ever growing property management portfolio combined with her bookkeeping role which she's been involved with at Moores for some time now. With around 500 properties in management at any one time and over 1,500 tenants there are always repairs and improvements to be undertaken. Gemma has an excellent ability to efficiently co-ordinate repairs & improvements to provide landlords and tenants with a high level of customer service and satisfaction; ensuring they are kept informed at each stage of the repair or improvement process, and ensuring costs are controlled and contained. Her role also sees her liaising closely with our landlord clients to ensure appropriate authorisation is sought for each and every repair and that the overall value of the work and the property are maintained.     Luke Parkin - Property Inspector
    We are pleased to welcome Luke to the Moores team. As our dedicated Property Inspector Luke is a key part of our management service and his role is highly valued by our landlord clients, particularly those that live away from Leeds as they know their properties will be monitored every 3 months by the same person. Luke's key objectives are to ensure that our properties are being well cared for and that any maintenance, whether it be minor or extensive is reported immediately to our maintenance team. Luke is also responsible for advising landlords of long term planned maintenance and will be on the lookout for what improvements should be considered in the future to ensure happy tenants and maximum rental potential for our landlords.     Oneeka Clarke BSc (Hons) - Maintenance Coordinator
    Oneeka joins Moores with 18 months property industry experience. Working alongside Gemma she will be the first point of contact for our tenants, landlords and contractors with everything and anything related to maintenance. Oneeka will monitor our online repair reporting platform to ensure that our tenants get detailed and timely responses to their maintenance queries. Our landlords will rely on Oneeka to establish the root of a maintenance problem and then provide them with competitive quotes and detailed advice on the best way to get the job completed. There is no such thing as a typical day in maintenance and Oneeka will be handing jobs ranging from a leaky tap all the way through to full property refurbishments. Currently studying for a Masters in Quantity Surveying with Commercial Management in her spare time, Oneeka so is certainly not shy of hard work. Joined Moores 2019.

      Michael has over 20 years experience in the property industry, both in social and private housing, and possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience that ensures both teams are able to advise clients on all aspects of the residential sales and lettings markets. Having worked at Moores for 15 years and now managing a team of 10 Michael is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the teams deliver on customer service and client satisfaction. Michael's focus has always been to nurture relationships with clients, some of whom Moores has worked with more than 20 years. Many of our new clients are referred to us from existing clients who extol the virtues of using an independent family business that is able to tailor services to suit the needs of individual clients.       We are delighted to welcome Rachel to Moores. Having worked in the industry for several years Rachel brings with her a wealth of experience selling property, both as a Negotiator and Valuer. Rachel's primary objectives are to undertake viewings, encourage and negotiate offers and to progress sales from start to finish.       Kristy is a welcome addition to our Sales team and, like Rachel, has previous Estate Agency experience having worked for two well-known local Agents. Having just returned from working in Australia, Kristy is the first point of contact for clients and customers looking to sell and buy property through Moores. Her primary duties include identifying 'hot buyers' for current listings, undertaking viewings, encouraging and negotiating offers and ensuring sales are progressed efficiently through to completion.
