Association Of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA)

Move is a member of ARLA to ensure that our landlords and tenants receive the highest standards of service. Our Lettings staff study and take the ARLA competency tests and we are proud of the excellent results they achieve.

ARLA members are governed by the Code of Practice providing a framework of ethical and professional standards at a level far higher than the law demands. The Association runs a series of meetings, training courses and seminars at local and national levels to ensure that members are kept fully up to date with the latest best practice. Examinations are held regularly and membership rules require all member offices to have professionally qualified staff by the year 2000. Oliver Svehlik MARLA- Letting Manager

Oliver brings to the team 10 years of lettings experience, cutting his teeth in the buoyant London market predominantly in Chelsea, Fulham and Putney. After moving to Worcester with his wife in 2019, Oliver managed a successful lettings department for a large corporate outfit dealing with over 200 varied types of properties and clients.

He prides himself on providing excellent customer service whereby he picked up an ESTA award in 2021 for 'Best in County' which was voted by his landlords. He now heads up our Lettings team at Move in the Worcester office, where he is always happy to offer his advice on the market.

Outside of the office Oliver enjoys a day at the races, watching his beloved Arsenal FC and long walks with his wife and daughter along the River Severn and around The Pitchcroft.

"I approached George at Move after I had exhausted all the usual and established options for large/premium house sales in Gloucestershire, as I was looking for something more and refreshing.
With my sale I was looking for an agent that would allow me to be completely hands off as at the time I did not live in Gloucestershire, but safe in the knowledge that no aspect of the marketing and sale would be ignored. I can safely say this is what Move provided and much more!

I was impressed with George's refreshing ideas on how to market the house, harnessing the unique market that exists in Gloucestershire and attention to detail with the photography and brochure. Nothing was ignored.

Due to George's initial diligence and market knowledge the house was only on the market for 36 hours and was sold to a cash purchaser for a price far exceeding my expectations - and the valuations of other agents!
