I cannot say enough about V&H Homes and specifically Maria at the Ashtead Branch. While they are a smaller independent agent, they will absolutely give you the personalized service that an independent can provide. Give those big estate agents in Surrey a miss, take your business to V&H. The communication throughout the process was exemplary, the dedication to getting the sale was second to none. We had tried to sell previously with the usual suspects in Surrey and none of them could get the sale and it seemed hopeless, V&H got it done in 10 days! There were many times in our sale where things got rocky and Maria went well over and above day in and day out to ensure that everything went through. I truly believe that if we had went with another big establishment high street agent that our sale would not have happened. While Maria was absolutely amazing, we also had interactions with the other associates at Ashtead V&H Homes. When Maria was out of office our file was well looked after, the service didn't slip at all which is very rare in a sales situation. In a positive way, I would say that V&H agents came across very smooth, polished and professional with their approach to sales. Not pushy, listened to our concerns, but were clever with how they turned any negatives around to get ourselves (the buyers) to think about the positives. We saw a number of properties across different agencies, in different areas, and V&H did stand out as being one of the better represented companies, in this regard. This is as a large benefit to those potentially seeking to sell their home - which makes sense, given agents should be representing the sellers best interests. From the buyers perspective, the agents were very knowledgeable: listened to ourselves, why we were moving to the area and then brought out all the key benefits of the area (again, sales pitch, but also reassuring and informative). Also, and although common practice these days, they were open to viewings on Saturdays and we never had an issue in arranging bookings with them. Our purchase process was relative straightforward so cant comment about their need to get involved and resolve issues between buyer/seller.
