Completely changed my view on letting agents
I've never used a letting agent that's actually been attentive to tenants. It's so frustrating as in the past I have felt that, as I'm only a renter, I shouldn't have as good a service as someone who was buying. Celinda and her team in completely changed my view on letting agents. They made the moving in process quick and painless, any questions we had were immediately answered. A couple of months after moving in, I locked myself out. I called haart and they came round straight away to let me in, through Taunton traffic, which, if you know Taunton is a big ask. We then begrudgingly gave notice to our landlord and haart as we needed and found somewhere bigger, we were set to go in two weeks to our new agent dropped us as tenants leaving us in the lurch, effectively making us homeless in 12 days. I called Celinda immediately to see if our property was still available but it had already been taken. She really sympathised with us and contacted the landlord to ask for an extension and even, if worst came to worst, were prepared to ask the new tenants to extend their move-in date to allow us more time. We gained 4 weeks and Celinda, Luke or Myles were in contact with us every day with new properties, and informing us of new ones not yet advertised. Our issue was that we have a dog and two cats so we're not easy to find for. They called landlords that ordinarily wouldn't accept pets to vouch for us as tenants. They have in the meantime visited the property we were looking to move in to, to try and speak to the landlord with no luck, they then sent a letter to the landlord of the property, giving us a glowing reference to hopefully persuade the landlord to reconsider. I cannot tell you what a help they have been, they didn't need to help in the way that they have, in reality I am an outgoing tenant. It's just nice to know there are some good companies and employees out there that care so much. Thanks you so, so much all at Taunton haart.
