(Required under the Tenant Fees Act 2019 and Consumer Rights Act 2015)
Permitted Tenant Fees (Inclusive of VAT)
Fee Type Amount
Holding Deposit One week’s rent (per tenancy). Will be deducted from the first month’s rent.
Security Deposit Five weeks’ rent (for annual rent below £50,000) or six weeks’ rent (above £50,000).
Rent Payable monthly in advance as agreed in the tenancy.
Lost Key/Security Device Tenant will be charged the reasonable cost of replacement.
Change of Sharer or Tenancy Variation £50 (per request), or reasonable cost if higher, with evidence.
Early Termination (at Tenant’s Request) Tenant responsible for landlord’s reasonable costs and any rent lost until a replacement tenant is found.
Late Payment of Rent Interest charged at 3% above the Bank of England base rate after 14 days overdue.
