Last year most property sales in Essington involved detached properties which sold for on average £314,765. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £182,192, while terraced properties fetched £152,666.
Essington, with an overall average price of £224,286, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Coven (£226,034), but was more expensive than Cheslyn Hay (£204,488) and Norton Canes (£182,486).
During the last year, sold prices in Essington were similar to the previous year and 8% down on 2007 when the average house price was £244,729.
