Most of the sales in Ormskirk over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £200,793. Detached properties had an average sold price of £333,424 and terraced properties averaged at £190,643.
Ormskirk, with an overall average price of £221,509, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Burscough (£221,182), but was cheaper than Aughton (£314,270) and Lathom (£241,716).
In the past year house prices in Ormskirk were 6% down on the year before and similar to 2016 when they averaged at £226,053.
