While for many, the countdown to Christmas means buying presents, putting up decorations and indulging in lots of festive food, it’s also a time when others are focusing on more urgent matters, such as moving house!
Moving house can be one of the most stressful event’s in a person’s life, particularly at Christmas time, but surprisingly this is one of the most popular times for moving home, so we’ve listed a few tips to help make your move as stress-free as possible.
1. Plan ahead
Be sure to confirm your move date well in advance (preferably before the 24th December, so you can have a somewhat relaxing Christmas).

By getting a quote you can book your preferred moving day, so you will know when you need to have everything ready by.
3. Organise your packing
Aim to start packing at least 2 weeks before your move date and ensure all of your boxes are labelled correctly to speed things up on the other end.
