Our new swipeable images make finding your next home even easier

Here at Rightmove we want to help you find your next happy home, which is why we’ve introduced a new tool that we hope will help make it easier – our new swipeable image galleries.

This new feature has a left and a right arrow across the first two property images in the search results on our desktop and mobile sites, so you can view unlimited images before you click through to the listing. This should help you to create a shortlist of properties earlier in your search journey.

Sam Pesce, of Rightmove’s Product Development team, said: “Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that the swipeable gallery will help home hunters more quickly find the properties that are right for them, while spending more time browsing through more listings they love.

“We decided to build the feature after home hunters fed back to us that it was something they’d like to see on Rightmove. A huge portion of our traffic is now on mobile, and as swiping is a behaviour most of use every day on various handheld devices, it made sense that this would make home hunting easier.”

The launch of swipeable image galleries comes after we launched our ‘hide it’ feature back in July.
