Preview Rightmove’s new TV advert

On December 26th, Rightmove’s next phase of the “find your happy” campaign will launch with a new TV advert.  And we’re giving Rightmove agents the chance to see it first.

The latest TV advert is centred around the emotional connection we feel when we find the right property.  Anyone who has worked in estate agency will have experienced an applicant who registers to buy or rent a property with a long list of requirements for their new home.  Yet the property that prompts them to make an offer doesn’t tick all of those boxes.  The home that makes the final cut is the property that just “feels right”.

Every estate agent knows that tapping into that feeling of having found “the one” is what motivates people to get moving.

At Rightmove we’ve been tapping into that same emotional link to how people choose property for the last 18 months with our “find your happy” campaign.

The next phase of the find your happy campaign will begin on Boxing Day to correspond with the record-breaking levels of traffic that we typically see as we move into the New Year.  Last year,  we saw 3.2 million  visits to Rightmove on the first working day of the year and January 2014 broke records with 110 million visits for the month.

How we’ve driven record traffic with our “always on TV” strategy

Since October 2014 we’ve been “always on” TV to keep the Rightmove brand in front of home-movers and landlords all year long.  The effect of this strategy has seen our brand awareness grow even further.  We’ve carefully chosen advertising slots within programmes watched by highly motivated sellers and landlords.

Largest brand awareness

This consistency in TV advertising has helped to make Rightmove the brand that vendors insist on, with 85% of sellers surveyed by the Property Academy in the Home Moving Trends Survey 2015 saying that Rightmove is the most important property website where they expect to see their property marketed.
