Studios at Hamstead Campus are perfect for students wanting a little more space and privacy.

Price includes ALL BILLS!! Including heating, hot water, electricity, contents insurance and up to 200mb high speed WiFi internet.

The main room comes equipped with a double bed, mattress cover, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers, wardrobe, sofa, desk and chair, dining table, two chairs and a bin.

The studio kitchen is self contained with fridge, freezer, microwave and electric oven and hob, kettle, hoover, iron and ironing board.

Studio bathrooms have an electric shower, bath, hand basin and toilet.

The Area

Hamstead Campus is located in the Handsworth Wood area of Birmingham just 3 miles from the city centre. We are home to over 500 students. A few minutes' walk along College Road takes you to local facilities including a Tesco Express and takeaways. Also nearby is Handsworth Park, a 63 acre park with a lake, cricket pitch and large leisure centre with swimming pool.

Transport

Getting to lectures on public transport couldn't be easier. Benefitting from excellent transport links, several bus routes serve the area including the 16 & 101 to the City Centre and the 11 Outer Circle route. Hamstead train station is a 20 minute walk away, giving direct access to Birmingham City Centre.

Sports Pitch

We have a floodlit multi-use sports pitch available to residents free of charge - a great way to meet new friends, have fun and enjoy some exercise.

Gym

We have a private gym for our student residents, located in Hamstead Hall. The gym is free to use for all Hamcam residents.

Security

Hamstead Campus is a secure, gated campus with 24/7 security 52 weeks a year. We have a regular team of security guards who are on hand 24 hours a day at reception in the Hall. When the Accommodation Office is closed our security team is here to help with any queries.

Insurance

Hamstead Campus in partnership with Howdens/Endsleigh Insurance provide basic contents insurance. This insurance provides reassurance for all of our residents and for those wanting to be extra sure, there is an option to extend the policy to include accidental damage cover.

Cycle storage

Cycle storage is provided on site for students wishing to bring a bike to campus. A £5 deposit is payable for a key to the bike store. This is refundable when you return your key.
