Pierantonio, the nearest village, is a 5km drive whilst the nearest market town, Umbertide, is 10km. Umbertide has everything you need for everyday life including a hospital and lots of shops and restaurants as well as a train station and access onto the E45.

The surrounding countryside is composed of magnificent wooded hills dotted with castles and dominated by Monte Acuto. It is 30 km North of Perugia and 20 km South of Città di Castello. Other close by places are Montone, a beautiful hilltop town and home the Umbria Film Festival as well as Preggio and the Niccone Valley.

Perugia airport is 30 kms with direct flights to the UK (via both Ryanair and BA), Belgium, Sicily, and Malta. Also, from the 27th of October 2022, flights to Milan will be reinstated and that improves accessibility to the rest of the world.
